An original and exclusive line called “Hot Tropic Nights” which has been hand painted directly onto the material showcasing flamingos and palm trees with metallic bronze braid. Shade is not lined due to hand painting, thus, the light is more intense through the shade when lit making it appear as the sun is in the background of the flamingos. Double rows of dark sage green, rose and light amber beading set off the scene. A 1930's art nouveau antiqued gold bridge base with reed column; upper and lower breaks which flow to the lower green onyx sitting atop the dolphin tripod claw feet. This is an exquisite base with an original artwork shade which together make a “grand statement”. Height is 60".
(one minute chip in green onyx marble due to age and fragility, however, does not diminish from the beauty of the piece itself).
