The black cut velvet and silk fan are dramatic when enriched by the royal purple lining that turns to the color fushia when the lamp is lit. The bronze braid accentuates the beading that flows from the shade to imitate black icicles with very definite points. A matching tassel of black completes the beading on the lamp. The 1920's art deco antiqued gold bridge arm curves from the top of the base to flow into the shade. The base is reed column extending down to a middle break before ending at the footed round base showing the simplicity of rope detail and leaf pattern. Height is 56".
