Imagine the English countryside of summer pink hues and lush green shadowing as the setting for this original and hand painted shade which
displays four different carriage scenes of the gentry. Each carriage scene is divided by metallic black braid that has been brushed with a hint of gold and green to compliment the double rowed and knotted hand dyed bronze, black and green fringe. Two green fringed tassels flow from underneath the shade to set off the white break of the base. The 1920's black base is adorned with a filigreed final of which the embossed tubing ends at the white break before continuing with a reed column which flows down to the filigreed footed base with open square detail. Please note that due to the shade being hand painting it is not lined. Height is 60".
