An original and exclusive line of hand painted shades depicting the tropics. The most commanding of all Hot Tropic Night shades showcases Peche` Parrot sitting aloft on a branch with palm trees in the background. The shade is made to look like a bird cage with a heavy finial and outlined in metallic bronze braid which cascades down to the heavy multi-colored beading and matching double tassels. Please note that the shade is not lined due to being hand painted, therefore, the light is intensified when on. The 1930's lime yellow Vaseline glass lamp base with yellow break has heavy embossed tubing between glass pieces and is very high footed. This shade and base are truly a breathtaking combination with high detail. Height is 61".
